Mathilde Minotti

After studying archeology, Mathilde specialized in ornamental furniture from the predynastic periods through the study of funerary furniture from Adaïma. She obtained her doctorate from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in 2015. Since 2006, Mathilde has worked as an archaeologist with private and public operators for preventive and scheduled archeology missions. Currently, she is an independent archaeologist attached as an associate researcher to the UMR TRACES in Toulouse. She took part in several missions in Egypt, on the Tanis site, then with B. Midant-Reynes and F. Briois in the western desert. She continues her research on ornaments through studies of prehistoric furniture in France and Egypt.

Mathilde has been participating in the Tell el-Iswid mission since 2008, as sector manager since 2009. She is also responsible for making an inventory and studying the small furniture on the site. Comfortable with computers, she is in charge of websites, Facebook and Instagram, and helps set up databases and the geographic information system.
